Holiday shopping is a little more personal when you can meet the people behind the gifts.

Artifact Found and Made is advertising its first Holiday Sip & Shop for Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Vista.

The event takes place at 130 Eucalyptus Avenue in Vista.

The shop's announcement promises light refreshments, introductions to its creators and curators, and chances to win shop giveaways.

A Shopping Night Built Around the Makers

The gathering is designed to put faces to the handmade and vintage goods on the shelves.

The shop describes itself as home to 12 local vendors, with vintage merchandise and handmade goods rather than mass-produced stock.

During the Sip & Shop, visitors are invited to meet creators and curators rather than simply browse anonymously.

For a gift shopper, knowing the story behind an object can be part of the gift itself.

The announcement encourages guests to bring friends, turning an ordinary shopping trip into a social evening.

What Can Shoppers Expect?

Its documented merchandise includes vintage goods, handmade jewelry, original artwork, ceramics and artisan crafts.

Inventory varies because the merchandise comes from multiple independent sellers.

The event announcement also mentions light refreshments and giveaways.

It does not specify the refreshments, prize quantities, giveaway rules or whether any purchase is required to enter.

Those details should be confirmed with the shop rather than assumed.

Although the name includes “Sip,” the invitation does not identify particular beverages.

Why the Timing Matters

The event arrives before Thanksgiving, when many residents are beginning their holiday gift lists.

Two weeks later, Artifact Found and Made is also co-hosting Downtown Vista’s Vintage & Makers Market on November 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at re.find off main, 146 Eucalyptus Avenue.

It also brings attention to independent merchants in Vista's downtown shopping district.

Artifact Found and Made is located on Eucalyptus Avenue in downtown Vista, near other independent shops.

The difference here is the invitation to meet the people who make and select what is sold.
