Vista is getting another Dutch Bros.

Not its first.

Not its second.

Number three.

Apparently, two places to order a Golden Eagle without leaving Vista were simply the warm-up round.

Dutch Bros now lists a location at 1025 East Bobier Drive, approximately 265 feet west of East Vista Way.

The company identifies it as a drive-thru with a pickup window. Its Vista directory also lists operating shops at 2665 South Melrose Drive and 1940 Hacienda Drive.

That much is confirmed.

The opening clock?

Still blinking.

A local social-media post advertises a Wednesday, Sept. 9 opening at 5 a.m. The calendar checks out: Sept. 9 is a Wednesday.

Dutch Bros’ public information does not confirm the rest.

As of Sept. 7, the company labels the Bobier shop “Closed Now.” Its official location page shows no operating schedule and says the hours have not been announced.

So the address is real.

The third location is real.

The 5 a.m. alarm remains optional.

This Cup Started Brewing in 2023

The Bobier project has spent nearly three years traveling from city paperwork toward coffee service.

Vista records identify it as project P23-0093: a 950-square-foot drive-through restaurant on a 0.81-acre commercial property.

Plans included a 270-square-foot outdoor patio, sidewalks, landscaping changes, drainage improvements and utility connections.

Vehicles would use two existing access points—one along East Bobier Drive and another on an adjacent private street.

The city signed the project’s environmental determination on Dec. 5, 2023.

Vista concluded that the development qualified for a categorical exemption from additional California Environmental Quality Act review. The city described it as a small commercial structure on previously developed land where public services and utilities were already available.

That was two years and nine months ago.

Some coffee orders take five minutes.

This one needed drainage plans.

The company’s directory now draws a line across Vista.

The Melrose shop sits in southern Vista. The Hacienda location operates near State Route 78. Bobier lands north of the freeway near East Vista Way.

Dutch Bros’ current public materials do not explain why it selected those three locations.

The addresses do enough talking.

This is not Dutch Bros discovering Vista.

It is Dutch Bros adding more Vista.

The Job Was Filled. The Numbers Weren’t Published.

Dutch Bros advertised a part-time Broista position for the East Bobier shop. The company’s careers page now says that position has been filled.

That confirms hiring activity at the address.

It does not reveal the total staff, the number of jobs created or Dutch Bros’ financial investment in the project. Those figures do not appear in the public sources reviewed.

The official location page also lists no Bobier-specific opening promotion.

For now, the verified picture is simple:
