Vista Village has a new bakery.

Finding it is easy.

Figuring out when it is officially open? That requires more detective work than dessert should.

A Desserts by Clément location has begun operating at 30 Main Street, Suite 180—the former home of Little Cakes Cupcake Kitchen.

DoorDash lists a Vista menu at the address, offering desserts, pastries, coffee, macarons and cakes.

The bakery’s official locations page still lists only Pacific Beach and Del Mar.

Vista is apparently the secret ingredient.

Same Address, Different Sugar

Little Cakes occupied the Main Street storefront for approximately 15 years.

The bakery announced its closure on Dec. 20, 2025. It had intended to remain open through Dec. 24, but said a hot-water-heater problem forced the earlier ending.

That left a familiar dessert address without dessert.

A situation Vista has now corrected.

There is no verified business connection between Little Cakes and Desserts by Clément. One closed. The other moved into its former space.

The cupcakes did not become croissants.

The address simply changed recipes.

Meet the Man Behind the Macarons

Desserts by Clément was founded by French pastry chef Clément Le Déoré.

His official biography says he began baking at 15 in his mother’s kitchen in Brittany. He later lived and baked in Sydney, Corsica and Brazil before settling in San Diego.

Then television judges entered the kitchen.

Food Network confirms that Le Déoré competed on Season 9 of Spring Baking Championship and reached the final.

He later joined 15 other pastry chefs for the first season of The Ultimate Baking Championship.

Vista’s newest bakery therefore arrives with more than attractive pastries.

Its founder has already baked under television lights while professionals judged the results.

Most croissants face less scrutiny.

Location Number Three Heads Inland

Desserts by Clément already operates in Pacific Beach and Del Mar.

When Del Mar Plaza announced its bakery’s opening on June 29, 2026, it identified Del Mar as the company’s second San Diego location.

Then it slipped in another detail:

A third shop was being developed in Vista.

That location has now appeared in Vista Village.

The company’s online store lists croissants, cruffins, kouign-amann, macarons, cakes and molded desserts shaped like fruit, pistachios and mushrooms.

Several fruit-shaped desserts are listed at $11.

The pistachio-shaped dessert is $12.50. A Dubai chocolate croissant costs $9, while the kouign-amann is $7.50.

Those are prices from the company’s general website—not confirmed Vista prices or a guarantee of daily inventory.

A pastry listed online is not necessarily a pastry waiting patiently for you.

The Website Is Still Baking

Desserts by Clément has not added Vista to its official locations page.

The company has not published a Vista telephone number or permanent schedule there. North Valley Flare also found no first-party announcement establishing the exact opening date or grand-opening plans.

Anyone making a special trip should confirm current availability through the ordering platform or at the storefront.

Driving across Vista for French pastry makes sense.

Driving across Vista to discover the hours personally is a less satisfying adventure.
