Four o’clock is concert time.
Technically.
Lakehouse Resort is bringing Twisted Gypsy to San Marcos on Saturday, Sept. 19, for the final show in its four-date 2026 Live at the Lake schedule.
The event runs from 4 to 8 p.m. at 1025 La Bonita Drive.
But here is the detail hiding behind that innocent-looking 4:
Gates open at 4.
An opening act begins at 4:30.
Twisted Gypsy starts at 5:45.
That leaves one hour and 45 minutes between “the event begins” and “the Fleetwood Mac tribute begins.”
Small detail.
Large difference if you are timing dinner, transportation or your tolerance for standing near somebody who keeps asking when the band starts.
Fleetwood Mac—Reimagined
Lakehouse Resort bills Twisted Gypsy as a Fleetwood Mac tribute.
The band does not describe its production as a musical photocopy. Twisted Gypsy calls it a modernized, reimagined presentation of Fleetwood Mac’s catalog and says its vocal harmonies are performed live without tracks.
Lakehouse promotes performances of songs such as “Dreams” and “Go Your Own Way.” That is not a guaranteed setlist.
It is, however, enough information to rule out polka.
The resort’s four-date schedule also listed The Pettybreakers on June 13, Jimmy’s Buffet on July 11 and Queen Nation on Aug. 15.
Twisted Gypsy gets the closing slot.
Apparently, summer in San Marcos is leaving through the 1970s.
There are worse exits.

Lawn spaces are unassigned and available on a first-come basis. Guests may bring blankets or one low-back, beach-style chair per person.
Read “low-back” twice.
Camp chairs and high-back chairs are prohibited. So are lawn furniture, tables, tents and large tarps.
Lakehouse provides the lawn.
You are not being invited to furnish it.
Premium admission comes with preselected reserved seating.
Food and beverages will be sold inside the event. Outside food and drinks are prohibited—even purchases from Amalfi Cucina Italiana, Brickmans or another location.
Coolers, picnic baskets and glass containers must also remain outside.
Standard strollers are welcome. Wagons and tyke bikes are not. Pets are prohibited except service animals.
Guests consuming alcohol must present valid identification. Bags and personal belongings will be searched at entry, and reentry requires a securely attached wristband.
Lakehouse confirms general-admission and premium-seating options. Its publicly accessible ticket information does not currently show ordinary admission prices or remaining inventory.

Because “Go Your Own Way” is a classic song.
It is a lousy ticket-buying strategy.

Kind of weird there’s almost 2 hours before the main show. Guess I’ll bring games for my kids to keep them occupied until Twisted Gypsy comes on.
We saw Queen Nation last month and it was a blast, so we’ll be there for this! Arrive early if you want a good spot, it got crowded fast last time.
Wish they allowed high-back chairs. Sitting for 4 hours on the grass is rough on my back. But at least there’s reserved seating if I shell out more.
Was hoping I could bring some takeout from Brickmans with me, but looks like that’s a no. Still excited for Twisted Gypsy, I’ve heard they do a great version of Dreams!
