There are worse ways to spend a Tuesday evening than talking shop over pizza.

San Marcos Chamber of Commerce members gathered at PizzaBar on Aug. 25 for the Chamber’s August Business Mixer, an after-hours event centered on a familiar idea: put local professionals in the same room and give them time to make connections.

The Chamber promoted the mixer as a chance to connect with fellow business professionals, grow networks and build meaningful relationships in the San Marcos community. Its post after the event put the case more succinctly: “More visibility. More connections. More community. More introductions. That’s how businesses grow.”

City Hall — and Sacramento — Were Represented

The Chamber’s post identified San Marcos Deputy Mayor Mike Sannella and Council Member Danielle LeBlang among those at the mixer. The City of San Marcos lists Sannella as the District 2 council member and current deputy mayor, and LeBlang as the District 3 council member.
