And this isn't just a restaurant rumor floating around Facebook.

Recent reporting shows BHC Chicken has submitted documents to the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality for a restaurant at 133 N. Twin Oaks Valley Road, Suite 100, in Civic Center Plaza. The new restaurant is expected to replace the former Subway space.

There is one important detail still missing: an opening date has not been announced.

So, no lining up at the door quite yet.
