Bingo has entered its botanical era.

The usual prize table is gone.

This version comes with beads, plant knowledge and greenery that will eventually judge your watering schedule.

Creative Master Peaces will bring Plant Stake Craft and Plant Bingo to Weir Beer in Vista on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The 21-and-older event combines a hands-on workshop, a take-home plant and optional bingo with additional plant prizes.

Everyone leaves with a plant.

A few players may leave with more.

First, Give the Plant Some Jewelry

Participants will design and decorate beaded plant stakes or charms for houseplants or garden pots.

No crafting experience is required. Creative Master Peaces says its workshops include materials and step-by-step guidance.

Every ticket holder will also receive a plant to take home.

What kind?

That remains under wraps.

The organizer has not published the plant’s species, size or variety. Expect something portable—not a ficus requiring its own seat belt.

Creative Master Peaces currently lists admission at $39 on its website. Eventbrite displays tickets starting at $43.45.

The two advertised prices are different, so buyers should check the final total before completing a purchase.

Eventbrite also advertises free parking and refunds until seven days before the event.

Doors open at 1:45 p.m. The workshop is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m.

Vista Is the New Stop

Creative Master Peaces describes Sept. 27 as its first crafting-and-Plant-Bingo event in Vista.

That is the organizer’s first Vista edition—not Vista’s first plant bingo.

The format has already traveled. Creative Master Peaces scheduled an earlier edition at The Mixer in San Diego in June, and another workshop is listed in Santee on Sept. 29.

Vista is not the test garden.

It is the newest stop.

Weir Beer operates at 1250 Keystone Way in the former Helia Brewing space. Its official website advertises the property for events and identifies 6,000 square feet indoors plus an 800-square-foot patio.

Its Sunday hours are listed from 1 to 8 p.m., covering the event’s scheduled time.

On Sept. 27, that brewery space gets a little more chlorophyll.
