Kids Can Make a Splash While Learning About Water at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens

Families looking for an educational outdoor activity this weekend can head to Alta Vista Botanical Gardens for a special Kids in the Garden program focused on one of our planet's most important resources—water.

The event, titled "Water is Wonderful," will take place on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens in Vista. Celebrating 17 Years of Nature Education

This year marks the 17th anniversary of the Kids in the Garden program, which has introduced thousands of local children to the wonders of nature through hands-on activities and outdoor learning.

Families who already have an Alta Vista Botanical Gardens Family Membership can attend the class at no additional cost. Grandparents with family memberships are also welcome to bring their grandchildren.

Children must attend with an adult.
