Vista Novemberfest Pours for a Cause on November 7
Local tastings, raffles and '80s music help fund Alta Vista Botanical Gardens and Lions Club charities.

Novemberfest is returning to Alta Vista Botanical Gardens on Saturday, November 7. There will be local pours, food, raffles and a band playing '80s favorites.

The four-hour fundraiser also helps pay the gardens' bills and supports Amigos de Vista Lions Club charities. That's a decent reason to spend an afternoon outdoors.

Why Novemberfest Matters to Vista

The Lions Club says Novemberfest in the Gardens began in 2014.

Since then, the event has connected local beverage makers and visitors with two organizations that serve the community.

Organizers say 100% of proceeds support the gardens and Lions Club charities.

Garden funds help pay utilities, maintain the grounds, and support improvements and future growth.

The Lions Club's charitable work includes support for people with visual impairments, local youth programs, and families needing assistance.

Tastings, Food and 1980s Music

The gardens' published 2026 beverage lineup includes QUAFF, Raging Cider & Mead, Roadies Brewing, Sabre Springs Wine & Mead, Seven Seas, Twisted Horn Mead, Weir Beer and Witch's Brew Mead.

The full list also features additional breweries, wineries, meaderies, and other beverage producers.

Food vendors advertised include Amigos de Vista Lions Club BBQ, Cocina Del Carmen, Pizza Sensei, and Sticky Chicken.

Visitors can browse craft booths, including vendors offering baked goods, hot sauce, artwork, and other items.

Raffles add another activity between tastings.

Live music comes from 80s Resurrection, featuring musicians from Dead Man's Party and a set of alternative and new-wave favorites.

Novemberfest Tickets and Admission Rules

The festival takes place at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens, 1270 Vale Terrace Drive, inside Vista's Brengle Terrace Park.

The gardens' official event page lists general admission at $55 on event day, November 7.

Garden members are listed at $50 on event day.

The published advance-pricing period ended October 31. Check the current ticket checkout for any available pre-event rates and fees.

Admission includes entry to the gardens, unlimited tastings, and a souvenir glass.

The festival is strictly for adults age 21 and older.

Children and dogs are not allowed; visitors should leave pets at home.

Volunteers Help Make It Happen

The gardens are recruiting volunteers for event preparation, setup, and festival-day shifts.

Ask the organizers which preparation or event-day shifts still need help.

For residents who want to support the cause without attending as guests, volunteering offers another way to contribute.

The gardens can be contacted at (760) 945-3954 for current event information.
