About
About the Band Daring Greatly brings together Canadian roots, Southern California connections and a rock sound built around vocal harmonies. Originally formed in Calgary, the five-piece now combines acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Its North County connections include documented appearances at Belly Up in Solana Beach. The Music and Sound Brothers Patrick and Liam Croome sing alongside drummer Brayden Tario, with Jeff Starkey on electric guitar and Brendan Cutrer on bass. The band's arrangements give those voices room above piano, organ and a full rhythm section. Live performances can expand into solos and improvised passages. Original releases include “August Nights” and “Nowhere to Run.” The catalog also includes a 2026 recording of David Bowie's “Space Oddity,” offering another way to hear the group's approach.
